An opening reception and awards ceremony for Spring Salon 2010: A Celebration of the Arts will be held Thursday, April 22 from 5:30-7:30pm. Catherine’s portrait Puttin Around will be featured along with pieces from several other southeast area artists.

Catherine’s pastel Sunny Side Up is currently on display at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville, GA. The 16×20 piece can be seen through December 5th.
Publication available in Atlanta-area luxury hotels
The September – October 2009 edition of the Museums & Galleries Complete Guide for Atlanta Fine Arts includes a photograph of one of Catherine’s award-winning oil portraits on page 8. Museums & Galleries is a local arts publication mailed directly to select patrons of the High Museum of Art, the Michael C. Carlos Museum, and the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. It can also be found at many Atlanta area luxury hotels and at visitor information centers.
Catherine’s oil portrait Andrew was awarded first place in the Kudzu Art Zone member gallery exhibit, A BODY OF WORK—Figure, Face, Form. The exhibit opened on July 10th and the works were judged by Damon Carter. While the exhibit is now closed, many pieces are on display at the Kudzu Art Gallery.
